COLUMBUS — Brack Walter Taylor passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, in Columbus.
He was age 80, born Dec. 14, 1931, in Mount Vernon, the son of Edward and Mittie (Guy-Taylor-Simmons) Taylor. He served as a veteran in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of Kokosing Elks Lodge 1085, American Legion and VFW, all of Mount Vernon. He retired from the Telephone Company of Mount Vernon.
He is survived by three daughters, Brackalyn Taylor-Flint (Aaron), Sherri Taylor-Holloway, Sylvia Taylor-Abram (Arthur); and one son, Brack W. Taylor Jr., all of Columbus; two brothers, Willis (Barbara) Taylor of Henrico, Va., James (Jill) Taylor of Cardiff by the Sea, Calif.; four sisters, Nancy Taylor-Green, Mittie Taylor-Holmes, both of Marion, Marie Taylor-Jones of Mishawaka, Ind., and Jean Taylor-Romero-Rogers (Leslie Rogers) of Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 43 nieces, nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Taylor and Mittie Simmons; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Russell (Beulah) Taylor and John Taylor.
There will be a graveside service at a later date.
