ZANESVILLE —Kenneth T. “Ted” Moody, 77, of Zanesville, passed away at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at Genesis Hospice and Pallative Care.
He was born Aug. 18 1935, in Muskingum County, a son of the late Kenneth Calvin and Ura Cleo Richardson Moody.
He retired as a mould maker for Anchor Hocking Glass Container. He attendedd Central Trinity Unity Methodist Church. He was a member of Doric Lodge 172 F and AM in Deavertown. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, missionary work, which included house building for Red Bird Mission and he volunteered for The Salvation Army. He protected our freedom by serving in the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Evelyn Fox Moody, whom he married Jan. 7, 1962; a son, Thomas Theodore (Dea) Moody of Lebanon; a daughter, Gail (Dru) Wilson of Mt. Pleasant, Mich; seven grandchildren, Tim, Matt, Josh, Sarah, Nick, Duane and Eric; and a sister, Lois Puskarich of Cadiz.
Calling hours will begin at 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:15 p.m., Sunday at the Snnouffer Funeral Home, 1150 W Military Road, Zanesville with The Rev. Tom England officiating. Ted will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetary.
