NEWARK — A funeral service for Agnes L. Snow, 93, of Newark, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Chow officiating. A luncheon will follow at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow the luncheon at Union Grove Cemetery in Gambier, Ohio.
Mrs. Snow passed away Dec. 24, 2012, at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 9, 1919, to the late Cecil J. and Ida (Gaumer) Horn in Knox County.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Noble B. Snow; sons, Noble B. (Kathy) Snow III of Newark, Myron L. (Bobbie) Snow of Scottsdale, Ariz., Steven M. (Diane) Snow of Newark and Cecil A. (Stephanie) Snow of Glouster; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Audrey L. Snow of Newark; and sister-in-law, Betty Horn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William D. Horn; and sister, Winifred Hall.
She was a 70-year member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, Glenwood Chapter 303, in Bladensburg. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. She retired from Alltel after 20 years.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark.
