MIDDLETON, Idaho — Kenneth V. Shotts Jr., 49, of Middleton, Idaho, passed away unexpectedly at home Dec. 28, 2012.

Kenny was born Jan. 17, 1963, in Mount Vernon, Ohio. He attended St. Vincent de Paul and Mount Vernon High School.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ellajean Kelly Crawley Shotts of Middleton, Idaho; daughter, Danielle Crawley of Mitchell, Ind.; mother-in-law, Helen (Donald) Hannie of Mitchell, Ind.; father, Kenneth (Sara Jayne) Shotts of Arcadia, Fla.; sister, Elizabeth, and niece, Karley Shotts of Etta Green, Ind.; grandmother, Lillian Shotts of Mount Vernon; stepbrother, Jason (Ursula), and niece, Miranda Mullins of Lexington, Ky.; stepbrother, Justin (LeAnne), nephew, Isaiah, and niece, Marley Mullins of Nicholasville, Ky.; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emily Fant Shotts; maternal grandparents, Paul and Barbara Fant; uncle, Paul Fant; paternal grandfather, George W. Shotts III.
