MOUNT VERNON — Linda Harpst-Wiedmer, 67, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at her home.

She was born Aug. 13, 1945, in Mount Vernon to the late Willard and Marian (Austin) Mauler.

Linda was employed and retired from Lucas County.

She is survived by her son, David (Leona) Harpst of Oceanside, Calif.; aunts, Lillian Gray, Phyllis Mauler, and Louise Mauler; her cousins, Douglas Berry and Roxanne Berry; halfsisters, Deb Thornton and Pat Hubbard; her halfbrother, Michael Mauler; and her beloved babysitter, Jean Bower. She was Nanna to Rommel, Zeke and Dallas.

There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private service at a later date.

The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is honored to have been chosen to serve the family of Linda Harpst-Wiedmer.
