MOUNT VERNON — Betty Marie (Anderson) Williams Bullock, 85, left her earthly family to join her family in Heaven on Jan. 8, 2013. Betty was a resident of Country Court Nursing Center, where she fought a difficult battle with congestive heart failure.

She was born June 21, 1927, to Cleason and Elizabeth (Hall) Anderson in Morgan County, Ohio. She retired from Kenyon College after more than 25 years’ service. Fifteen of those years were spent serving as the host of the Kenyon Alumni Guest House, where she made many friends and enjoyed providing hospitality to the alumni and guests.

Betty leaves behind a son, Jeff (Linda) Bullock of Howard; a daughter, Nancy (Dan) Bellville of McConnelsville; and a sister, Doris (Andy) Lechler of Columbus. She also leaves six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren: Tina (Rob) Lucas and their children Braidy, Brock and Avery of Richmond, Ohio; Aaron (Debi) Bellville and their daughters, Laney, Reese and Gabrielle of Orange Village, Ohio; Staci Woodward and her daughter, Gracie, and Carol Jarosky of Plainfield, Ind.; Kurt (Aleta) Bullock and their daughters, Regan, Hailey and Chloe of Howard; Kyle (Heather) Bullock and their daughters, Shannon, Savannah, Kylee and Gionna of Howard; Kevin (Amanda) Bullock and their children, Andrew, Katlin and Keegan of Danville, Ohio.

Betty was preceded in death by her father and mother, Cleason and Elizabeth (Hall) Anderson; a son-in-law, Jerry Klies; a daughter, Linda Klies (who died Oct. 23, 2012); her first husband, Lawrence E. Williams; her second husband, Paul E. Bullock; and a longtime loving companion, Lawrence Falter.

The family will observe private services.
