MOUNT VERNON — Jalyn A. Rine, 46, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born Feb. 28, 1966, in Zanesville, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Nevadel (Miller) Young. Jalyn was a 1984 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and was a 20-plus year employee with Wendy’s.

She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Barry Rine; her two children, Zach and Sammi Rine, both of Mount Vernon; a brother, Jay (Karen) Young of Pemberville; nieces, Mikayla and Jessica Young; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Kaye Rine of Martinsburg; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Michelle) Rine of Howard, Brad (Carla) Rine of Marysville; and her pug, Rolly.

Friends may call Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Knox County Humane Society in Jalyn’s memory.
