MOUNT VERNON — Sandra Braddock, 72, of Mount Vernon, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 13, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born April 9, 1940, in Mount Vernon, to William M. Midos and Nellie Mae (Lake) Midos. She was a 1958 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and had worked for Big Bear Supermarket for 13 years. Sandra enjoyed bingo, bowling and meeting with friends. She was a very devoted mother who loved her children.

She is survived by her two children, Laurie (Jeff) McDonald of Benton, Ark., and Scott Allan Braddock of Butler, two sisters, Carolyn Jacquet of Mount Vernon and Mary Midos of Sandusky, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Braddock; father, William M. Midos; mother, Nellie Mae Midos; father-in-law, Sterling E. Braddock; mother-in-law, Edna Braddock; and sister, Helen Kinnard.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church, with Pastor Mark Wildermuth officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the start of the funeral service. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
