HOWARD — Susan F. “Sue” James, 75, of Howard, passed away Friday afternoon, Jan. 18, 2013, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born Dec. 27, 1937, in Amesbury, Mass., daughter of the late Howard A. and Annie G. (Perkins) Sayball. Sue worked for United McGill Corp. in the Sales Service Department. She was a volunteer for Care Net Pregnancy Services in Mount Vernon. Sue was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, John A. James, whom she married Aug. 9, 1966; sons, Stephen (Candis) James of Columbus and Scott (Shelley) James of Avon; a daughter, Kim (Patrick) Rosmarin of Westerville; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Nancy (Ronald) Hooper of Elmira, N.Y., and Carole Kennedy of Newburyport, Mass..

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Mark J. Hammond as the Celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
