MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Bonnie J. Robinson, 86, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., died Jan. 23, 2013, in Myrtle Beach Manor following a six-week illness.
Bonnie was born Sept. 5, 1926, in Shelby, Ohio, to Lucille and Leonard Chew.
She married Paul A. Robinson on Nov. 15, 1945, in San Francisco, Calif., and after living more than 30 years in Newark, Ohio, the Robinsons moved to Myrtle Beach in 1982.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she served on the altar guild for more than 10 years. Bonnie also volunteered at Chapin Memorial Library and Grand Strand Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, as well as two sons, Randal D. (Brittany) Robinson of Columbus, Ohio, Paul A. (Patti) Robinson Jr. of Kailua-Kona Hawaii; a daughter, Ellen G. Robinson of Mount Vernon; and two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Friends of the Library at Chapin Memorial Library, 400 14th Ave. N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577; or Trinity Church, 3000 N. Kings Hwy., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Church, with a reception to follow in Gravely Hall.
