BLACKSHEAR, Ga., — Mrs. Patricia Ann Troutman McFarland, 67, of Blackshear, went to be with her husband and her Lord on Tuesday morning, Jan. 29, 2013, at Mayo Health System-Waycross.
Born in Crestline, Ohio, Aug. 17, 1945, she had lived in Blackshear since 2001.
She was a housewife and was also a member of Bristol Baptist Church. Mrs. McFarland will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd Everette Troutman; her husband, Ralph Edward McFarland; and a grandson, Warren Neal Dennis.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara McFarland of Waycross, Ga., Rosie Arrowood and Adaline Miller both of Blackshear; two sons, John McFarland of Jacksonville, Ga., and Kevin McFarland of Blackshear; her mother, Ellen Hoffor Troutman of Blackshear; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Dewayne Colley and Linda and Tom Robinson, all of Blackshear; Marie and George Touchton of Florahom, Fla.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert and Barbara Troutman and Harold Troutman all of Blackshear; 10 grandchildren, John Michael (Rebecca) McFarland, Chris McFarland, Cody McFarland, Austin Miller, Colton Miller, Christina Bersch, Johnathan Miller, Robert McFarland, Krystal Dawn McFarland and Rose Dove McFarland; six great-grandchildren, Nicole McFarland, Joshua McFarland, Levi McFarland, Jacey Herrin, Barry Pigman Jr. and Alexander Michael Bersch; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services for Mrs. McFarland will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday afternoon, at the Pearson-Dial Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
