MOUNT VERNON — Paul Junior Ridenour, 76, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday morning, Feb. 2, 2013, at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon.

He was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Perrysville, son of the late Kenneth and Estella (Coulter) Ridenour. Paul was a retired electrician having worked for Autonetics in Downey, Calif.; North American Aviation in Columbus; the Newark Air Force Base; Hughes Aircraft Co. in Culver City, Calif.; Telmar in Columbus; Deltronics and Empire Detroit Steel in Mansfield; Mostek in Carrollton, Texas, Kelly Services in Garland Texas, and DSG in Newark. He was a Navy veteran serving from 1957 to 1961.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Trisha Ridenour of Mount Vernon; son, Terry Allen Ridenour; stepdaughters, Renee and Sheera White; stepsons, Todd, Tony and Tracy Vance; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dana Raby of Loudonville; and sister, Evelyn Smaltz of Newark.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Rachelle Elizabeth Frost.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow with military honors in the Greenlawn Cemetery near Perrysville.
