COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Calling hours for Dorothy M. Cochran, 88, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Utica, will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Utica United Methodist Church, 626 North St., where the service will be at 1 p.m., with Pastor Ken Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Homer Cemetery. Dorothy died Feb. 2, 2013, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was born Feb. 9, 1924, in Fredericktown to the late Robert O. and Zoa L. (Richards) Fogle. Dorothy was a member of the Utica United Methodist Church. She was a 4-H advisor for the Brandon Jolly Juniors club for 25 years.
She was a 70-year member of the Miller and Morgan granges, where she held the office of Lecturer for several years. She was a member of the Fairview Ladies Country Club. Dorothy was a retired Grange Insurance Agent for the Baxter-McKee and H.G. Randolph/Hogg agencies.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Don Brown of Colorado Springs, Colo., Linda and Tom Edwards of Delaware, Vicki and Phil Rhonemus of West Union, Debra and Bill Mealick of Walhonding; eight grandchildren, Donald (Jayme) Brown, William (Leslie) Brown, Kristen (Jon) Wish, Stephen (Sandy) Edwards, Cara (David) Vogler, Joshua Rhonemus, Janice (Edd) Smith and Shannon Mack; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Cochran, who passed away Feb. 19, 2008; granddaughter, Judy Ann Brown; sister, Betty Beck.
