NEWARK — A funeral service for Karen L. Dudgeon, 68, of Newark, will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday at the Rocky Fork Church of Christ, 12969 Techiglas Road, Newark. Victor Slutz will officiate and burial will follow in Rocky Fork Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Rocky Fork Church of Christ.
Mrs. Dudgeon went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Licking Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Newark, a daughter of the late Kenneth I. and Frances L. (Wiley) Priest. She was a member of the Grove Church of Christ.
Surviving are her husband, Carey L. Dudgeon; sons, Dallas (Mary Ann) Dudgeon of Hebron, Mark A. Dudgeon of Newark, Joel A. Dudgeon of Newark; her beloved grandchildren, Leah M. Dudgeon of Newark, Latisha (Steve) Means of Nashville, Tenn., Lindsay M. Dudgeon of Nashville, Tenn., Jesse T. Dudgeon of Mount Vernon; a sister, Sherry (Gary) Westbrook of Millersburg; a brother, Brian (Carol) Priest of Newark and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a brother, Irwin L. Priest.
