FREDERICKTOWN — L. Elenore Daniels, 87, formerly of Shipley Road, Fredericktown, passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at the Knox Community Hospital with her family at her bedside.

She was born Feb. 14, 1926, in Bellville, Ohio, to the late Waldo and Alice (Andrews) Stringer. In 1945, she married Harold Daniels and celebrated over 62 years of marriage. Elenore enjoyed people, playing table games and taking pictures. A proud 1944 Fredericktown graduate, she enjoyed her role as class historian. But most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family. She served and faithfully attended Ankenytown Grace Brethren Church for over 50 years.

Elenore is survived by her two sons, Dennis (Judy) Daniels of Winona Lake, Ind., Wayne (Diane) Daniels of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Gloria (Bob) Parker of Troy, Tina (Rich) Campbell of Westerville; six grandchildren, Mathew Parker, Katrina Parker, Amy Tanner, Lesley Placeway, Joshua Daniels, Adam Campbell; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Elenore was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Daniels; and her brother, Wallace Stringer.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A service will be held Saturday at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
