FREDERICKTOWN — Marguerite E. Frazier, 92, of Fredericktown, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, at her residence.

Marguerite was born Feb. 25, 1921, in Mount Vernon to the late Lucien Augusta and Susan (Kehrer) Lober, and had spent her lifetime in Knox County. She was a 1940 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. On March 16, 1946, she married Ralph E. “Jake” Frazier and together they owned and operated Knox Electrical Construction Co. for many years.

Marguerite attended the First Presbyterian Church in Fredericktown and was a member of Ann Hill Chapter Order of Eastern Star in Fredericktown. In her younger years she was active with several bowling leagues.

Surviving are her children, Sandy (Al) McQuigg of Mount Vernon, Michael (Stephanie) Frazier and Dusty Frazier, both of Fredericktown; six grandchildren, Christina (Chad) Sanders, Stacy (Scott) Savage, Micah (Lina) McQuigg, Hector (Montenique) Frazier, Landon “Biff” (Amanda) Frazier and Michael Maggard; 15 great-grandchildren; and her canine companion Duffer.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Frazier, Oct. 18, 1994; a grandson, Levi B. Frazier, March 24, 1983; grandson-in-law, Ryan Maggard; three sisters and four brothers.

For their care and support of Marguerite during her illness, the family wishes to thank Dr. Edward Blackburn, Diane Blackburn, Tammy Pence Thomas, Marsha Tidyman RN, Ruby Warner, Al and Dayna Beyer and the Snyder family. In addition the family would like to thank Carolyn Thompson, Chris Well, Barrie Fearn and Chris Bunn for preparing the family meal.

At Marguerite’s request, the family observed private funeral services and burial at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
