CENTERBURG — Evelyn “Jody” (Feyh) Hollis passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, March 19, 2013, with her loving full time caregiver, Barb Cluck, at her side.

Jody was born February 19, 1923, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (McGrant) Feyh. She married Oscar Hollis on Aug. 2, 1943.

She had worked many jobs during her life, ending at Western Electric (Lucent) from which she retired. She was the mother of three children, Cheryl (Donald) Coleman, Linda (Steve) Ulrey and Gale Hollis. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Randy Sheets, Teresa (Ray) Vannoy, Chris (Candace Taylor) Coleman, John (Danille) Coleman, Richard (Holly) Coleman, Jessica (Mike) Young, Jarrod (Kelly) Ulrey, Lisa (Greg) Grace, Emily (Anthony) Hunter, Misty (Seth) Burnett and Andrew (Joanna) Hollis; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ethelyn Feyh, and brother, Arthur Feyh Jr.

Friends may call at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday where service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday. Pastor John C. Wythe officiating. Interment in Bloomfield Cemetery.
