MOUNT VERNON — Mildred A. Punches, 64, of Gambier Street, Mount Vernon, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born April 10, 1949, in Gambier, to the late Emerson and Lorena (Mears) Billman. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4027 and past member of the Loyal Order of Moose and Eagles Lodge, all of Mount Vernon.
She is survived by her husband, James Punches; two brothers, Junior Billman of Leesville, La., and Richard Billman of Gates, N.C.; four sisters, Thelma Billman of Mount Vernon, Judy Wilson and Lorena Alberts, both of Gambier, and Mary (Ron) Wilkinson of Mansfield.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve Billman and Ted Billman.
Friends may call Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Mount Vernon.
