COLUMBUS — Esther Ballam Levenson, a longtime resident of Mount Vernon, passed away April 14, 2013, in Columbus.
Esther was born in Charleston, W.Va., on April 12, 1925, and grew up in her beloved West Virginia. She moved to Mount Vernon in 1947 and resided here until 2010, when she moved to Columbus to be near her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Levenson Sr., the love of her life.
She is survived by her three children, Fred (Robin), Syd (Pat) and Deb, all of Columbus; and her four grandchildren who dearly loved their Grandma, Sydney Ballam, Los Angeles; Stephanie Ballam, Columbus; Stacy Ballam, Columbus; and David Ballam, Los Angeles. She also is survived by Al and Annie Levenson of Mount Vernon who were so very kind to her, and by other friends and family.
No calling hours. Services will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
