DANVILLE — Janet Kay (White) Banbury, 76, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at her residence.

She was born April 12, 1937, in Danville, to William and Vera (Shackle) White. She was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville and Women of the Moose.

She is survived by her children, April (Lynn) Farmer of Howard; Michael (Cathy) Worley; and Lisa (Ray) Highman of Danville; and Debbie (Mike) Waryck of Delaware; stepsons, David Banbury of Columbus; and Chris Banbury of Mount Vernon; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister, Patty (John) Groseclose of Danville; and a brother, Harold White of Utica.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, C. Edward Banbury; sister, Bertha Banbury; and brother, William White.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, at the St. Luke Church. Father Victor Wesolowski will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, with a prayer service at 4:45 p.m.
