RICHMOND, Va. — James L. “Jamie” Woosley Jr., 51, passed away unexpectedly May 1, 2013, in Richmond Va.
He was born in Mount Vernon on Feb. 14, 1962, to the late James L. Woosley Sr. and Vivian Ann (Myers) Hawk.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughter, Jennifer; son, James Woosley III; grandchildren, Symphony and Pheonix; mother, Vivian (Robert) Hawk of Mount Vernon; stepmother, Linda Woosley of Howard; brothers, Kevin (Marsha) Woosley of St. Louisville, Justin Woosley of Hebron; sisters, Becky (Doug) Conard of Fairview Park, Bridget (Danny) Cline of Gambier, Sarah (Howard) Spray of Mount Vernon, Korena (Dale) Broseus of Frazeysburg, Annette (Rick) Hanna of Frazeysburg and Bonnie Oliver of Utica; several nieces and nephews; his special canine friend, Petey; and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Woosley Sr.; and stepfather, Henry Barker.
Jamie loved life, his family and had the kindest heart ever. Jamie had a passion for hot rod cars and was a successful businessman in the Richmond area.
Jamie was so loved and will be sadly missed by many.
The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date.
