MOUNT VERNON — Constance Sue “Connie” Stull, 62, of Mount Vernon, passed away Monday morning, May 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Oct. 11, 1950, in Mansfield, to Wylie and Thelma (Amos) Flockenzier. Connie was employed by Mazza’s Restaurant as a serving manager from 1974 to 1997; she was also employed at John DeCosky dealership from 1999 to 2005 as a sales specialist.

She enjoyed playing the accordion and the organ; she belonged to a Card Club and operated the Brookside Motel from 1976 to 1982. Connie was an avid lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Reds.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard Stull; a son, Casey (Mary) Jones III of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Amber, Kelsey, Emily and Korey; and one great-grandchild, Dominick; a niece, Sarah (Lucas) Morris of Canton; and a brother, John (Laurie) Flockenzier of Lucas.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dowds Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., with an hour of visitation from noon to 1 p.m., conducted by Lucas Morris.
