DELAFIELD, Wis. — Leslie Ann “Leslie Lou” Nepper, 57, of Delafield, passed from paradise in Maui to Heavenly Paradise in the loving arms of Jesus, April 27, 2013.
She was born to Jan (Fambrough) Bechtel and the late Bob Bechtel on May 5, 1955, in Gambier. Leslie was married to Jeff Nepper, her soul mate and one true love, April 21, 1988.
Leslie owned and operated Red River furniture in Delafield, and later worked at the Bronze Stone Group. She was a gifted artist and interior designer; and an active member of Lake Country Family Church. Leslie enjoyed being with people and infused joy into any setting with her ever present smile and contagious laugh.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff; mother, Jan of Cincinnati; sister, Robin (Ray) Enderlie of Cincinnati; sister, Dale (Curtis) Stockhausen of West Bend, Wis.; brother, Kurt (Terri) Bechtel of Seattle, Wash.; nieces and nephews, Alex, Liz (Brian), Shannon, Matthew, Mark; and many friends.
A memorial service will be held May 11 at 3 p.m. at Lake Country Family Church, which meets at Lake Country Lutheran High School, 401 Campus Drive, Hartland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made out to the Leslie Lou Scholarship Fund, care of Town Bank of Delafield, 400 Genesee St., Delafield, WI 53018.
