BRINKHAVEN — Eileen Faye Blubaugh, 90, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.
She was born Oct. 16, 1922, in Knox County to the late Walter and Sadie (Hoagland) Cline. She married Alfred F. Blubaugh on July 6, 1940. She was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville, where she was also a member of the PCCW. She loved flowers, gardening and cooking for her family.
Eileen is survived by three daughters, Ruth Wandle of Mount Vernon, Barbara Blubaugh (Gary Foster) of Brinkhaven and Linda Welsh (Kevin Daniels) of Fredericktown; three sons, David (Diane), and Ronald Blubaugh, both of Brinkhaven, and Daniel (Jeanie) Blubaugh of Danville; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Drake of Howard; a sister, Louise Johnson of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Jim Cline of Apple Creek and Jerry Cline of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alfred; a son, Alfred James Blubaugh; and three brothers, Ralph, Walter Sr. and Robert Cline.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville. The Rev. Father Victor Wesolowski will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the church from 6 to 8 on Thursday, with a prayer service at 7:45.
