HOWARD — Judith Marie “Judy” Haldeman, 62, of Howard, died Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Emeritus at Chestnut Hill in Columbus.
Judy was born April 7, 1951, in Mount Vernon to Raymond and Mary (Blanchard) Boeshart. She graduated from Danville High School and had spent her lifetime in Knox County. She received her teaching degree from The Ohio State University and taught in the Knox County area where she specialized with Severe Behavior Handicap (SBH). Judy was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in New Albany.
Judy is survived by her son, Dean (Angela) Haldeman of New Albany; her daughter, Lesley (Dan Bryan) Haldeman of Howard; her grandson, Cole Haldeman of New Albany; her father, Raymond (Fern) Boeshart of Avon Park, Fla.; sisters, Beverly Kornack of Zanesville, Dorothy Waters of Wisconsin, Janet Boeshart of Maryland; brothers, Joseph Boeshart of Zanesville, Clarence “Sam” Boeshart of Michigan, Carl “Mike” Boeshart of Mount Vernon and Thomas Boeshart of California; stepsister, Jean Dudgeon of Wisconsin; stepbrothers, Floyd “Butch” Daubenmier of Mount Vernon, Bill Daubenmier of North Carolina and Joe Daubenmier of Indiana.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Haldeman; her mother, Mary (Blanchard) Boeshart; and her brother, Charles C. Boeshart.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, where funeral services will be Saturday beginning at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jerry Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
