PERRYSVILLE — Kevin D. Bigler, 48, of Perrysville, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Mansfield Memorial Homes following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 18, 1965, in Columbus, the son of Charles and Phyllis (Luers) Bigler, Kevin graduated from Clear Fork High School.

An outside person, Kevin liked nature. A perfectionist, he enjoyed woodworking and made sure his projects were completed with precision. Kevin watched old movies, and the History and Discovery channels on television.

Kevin was proud of his sobriety, and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for almost four years.

Kevin is survived by his parents, Charles and Phyllis Bigler of Mount Vernon; brother, Kyle (Catherine) Bigler of Austin, Texas; sister, Tina Gray (Herman Smith) of Dayton; nieces and nephews, Amanda (Jasper) Amstutz of Wooster; Adrian Bigler of Mansfield; Tyler Bigler of Dayton; Elizabeth and Caroline Bigler of Austin, Texas; aunts and uncles, Jean (Jack) Hughes of Ft. Myers, Fla; and Clarence Bigler of Sebring, Fla; cousins, Cindy (Jack) Jorgensen of Naples, Fla; and John (PG) Hughes of Manteca, Calif.; a close circle of friends, neighbors and an extended family of AA friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence Sr. and Alice Bigler and Walter and Rhoda Luers.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Pastor Mark Wildermuth will officiate and burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to Southern Care Hospice may be made through the funeral home.
