CENTERBURG — Jayne Grace Mastroianni, 62, of Centerburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born May 30, 1950, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of the late Dwight and Harriett (Crow) Earlywine. She was a graduate of East Knox High School and was a realtor in the Centerburg area for many years.

Jayne was a hardworking, devoted mother who loved her children and family. She enjoyed cooking for all family events, especially holidays and birthday celebrations. She was a fantastic cook making meals from her home grown fruits and vegetables. In addition to cooking and gardening, Jayne enjoyed making quilts and blankets.

Spending time with her family meant the most to Jayne. Some of her favorite times were spent making Sunday brunches for her family and sitting around her kitchen telling stories. She would welcome a good conversation with an abundance of laughter.

She is survived by her sons, Brian (Heather Summers) Mastroianni of Delaware; Mike (Becca) Mastroianni of Westerville; granddaughter, Taylor Marie Mastroianni; brothers, Bob (Dorothy) Earlywine of Olathe, Kan.; John (Barbara) Earlywine of Mount Vernon; Jim (Anita) Earlywine of Danville; sister, Patricia Mickley of Mount Vernon; and longtime, special friend, Jess Damron of New Albany.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, at the Fuller Community Center, 33 Church Street, Centerburg, OH 43011 (located directly behind First Knox Bank). Following the calling hours, there will be a celebration of her life at the Fuller Community Center. Please come prepared to share stories and memories of Jayne.
