FORT COLLINS, Colo. — William P. “Bill” Ryan, Fort Collins, Colo., a former resident of Fredericktown, Ohio, died Monday, May 27, 2013, after a brief illness.

Bill worked for Cooper Energy in Mount Vernon and Grove City, Pa., before moving to Fort Collins to take a position with the Woodward Corp.

Bill, son of Edgil and Ruth (Shaw) Ryan, was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucy; son, Paul; brothers, Paul, Ernie and John; sisters, Mary Lou and Maxine.

Bill is survived by sons, Dan (Dan Burns), Keith (Anna), Charles (Maria), Ken (Amy) and Ron (Jessica); his grandchildren, Matthew, Marcus, Olivia, Peter, Wesley and Bodhi; and Bill’s companion, Linda. Also surviving are a brother, Bob Ryan; sisters, Patricia Mendez, Barbara Blanchard and Martha Blanchard.

The funeral service and burial are in Fort Collins on Friday. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Douglas farm, 18147 Divelbiss Road, Fredericktown. Bill’s friends are asked to attend for food and fellowship with his family.
