FREDERICKTOWN — Carole L. Bemiller Fennell, 74, of Fredericktown, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.

Carole was born near Johnsville in Morrow County on March 23, 1939, to Lee and Lucille (VanBuren) Bemiller. Carole graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1957. She spent most of her lifetime in the Waterford area and faithfully attended the Waterford Church of Christ. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years and worked as a cleaning lady for the church and elsewhere in the community.

Carole is survived by her son, John Fennell of Fredericktown; grandson, Kenny Fennell in Texas; brothers, Jim Bemiller of Bluffton, P. Frank (Linda) Bemiller and Roger (Paulette) Bemiller, both of Fredericktown; a sister, Janet (Tom) Miller of Lexington; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Nancy Holtrey, Dean and Shelia Beck, and Marilyn Westbrook. Besides her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Joan Bemiller. Carole was blessed to have had many neighbors, church members and home health workers that kept in touch with her during difficult times.

Friends may call Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Don Linn and Joel Cassuto officiating. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery at Johnsville.
