DANVILLE — Josie Lynne Kaylor, 19, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, as the result of an auto accident.
She was born May 11, 1994, in Mount Vernon to Brent and Renee (Sherman) Kaylor. She was a 2012 graduate of Danville High School, and was enrolled at COTC School of Nursing. She was a participant in the Greater Knox County Junior Miss. She also attended the North Bend Church of the Brethren, and was employed at Tractor Supply Co.
Josie is survived by her parents, Brent and Renee of Danville; sisters, Ashley (James) Smith and Miriah (Larry) Ashman; brothers, Desmond Doyle and Javin Champion; nieces, Brooklyn and Claire Ashman; nephew, Damien Smith; grandparents, Dalton and Helen Kaylor, and Dale and Patricia Edwards; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Sherman.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Danville High School gymnasium. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will also be at the school from 3 to 7 on Sunday.
