MOUNT VERNON — Perry C. Brenneman 75, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 10, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to the late Charles H. and Charlotte (Archibald) Brenneman. A lumberman, Perry learned the lumber trade from his father. He began Perry C. Hardwood Lumber Inc. in 1962 until 1990. He retired from Brenneman Lumber in 2005.
Perry was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Mount Zion Masonic Lodge 9 and the Moose Lodge. Perry loved to attend auctions and car shows. He restored tractors and his forever hobby was restoring his 1925 Franklin. A personable man, Perry didn’t know a stranger. As a result he enjoyed his friendships immensely.

Perry was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa S. Brenneman.
