MOUNT VERNON — Benjamin A. Brown, 25, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Sept. 4, 1987, in Newark, Ohio, to James and Beth (Suain) Brown. Ben was self-employed and loved any mechanical challenge. Working on cars was a hobby and passion. Ben also enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Like his mother, he was quick to make friends and would do anything for anyone in need.

“Ben Brown was the love of my life and my best friend. Ben always found a way to make me smile. His love for me was so tender, compassionate and charming. I’m so thankful for the special love that we shared. It was much too short, but I believe we were a blessing to each other. I will never stop loving you babe!” Forever Yours, Liz.

Ben is survived by his soul mate, Liz Woolson; father, Dr. James (Beth Franz) Brown; two brothers, Jonathon and Nicholas Brown; stepbrother, Brad (Darcy) Nesbit; stepsister, Jaime Nesbit; paternal grandmother, Helen Brown; aunts and uncles, Dennis Suain; Jackie (Jim) Davidson, Susan (Ron) Bartell, Sandra (Henry) Vance; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.

Ben was preceded in death by his mother, Beth Anne (Suain) Brown; paternal grandfather, Robert Brown; and maternal grandparents, Jack and Merita Suain.

Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m.

Ben’s wish would have been, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to help anyone in need.

Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Benjamin A. Brown.
