MOUNT VERNON — Helen I. Stalter, 103, of Mount Vernon, died Friday, June 14, 2013, in Mount Vernon.

Helen was born March 1, 1910, in Marietta, to Homer and Mary Etta (Losher) McCoy. She graduated as a registered nurse from Springfield City School of Nursing, associated with Wittenburg College. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Englewood, Fla. Helen was past president of the Federation of Women’s Clubs, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are a grandson, Richard DuMoulin of Fredericktown; and her sister-in-law, Betty Hoeflich of Fredericktown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Charles Stalter; daughter, Sally DuMoulin; brother, Kenneth McCoy; and a sister, Katherine Bishop.

Inurnment will be at Christ Lutheran Memorial Cemetery in Englewood, Fla.
