HOWARD — Virginia Lee Bristow, 73, of Howard, passed away June 19, 2013, following a battle with cancer.
“Ginger” was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Elberfeld, Ind., and enjoyed a career including positions with Thomas Davis Clinic, Revco and Wal-Mart.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, and daughter and son-in-law, Chip Bristow of Arizona, Mark and Julie Bristow of Arizona, Brian and Amy Bristow of Virginia, Robin and Greg Tynes of Arizona and James and Dawn Bristow of Arizona; 12 grandchildren, Ryan, KJ, Dallas, Jim, Shalyn, Anthony, Karli, MacKensey, Ashlee, Haylee, Clay and Robbie; and four great-grandchildren, Averi, Taelyn, Kevin and Maddax; and sisters and brother and sister-in-law, Jackie Young, Fletcher and Beverly Trousdale and Clevia Jean Kruse.
A special thanks to Jeni, Myra, Sarah, Steph and Isaac at the Country Club Retirement Campus who took such wonderful care of Ginger in her final days. Ginger was laid to rest with her husband, Charles Edward Bristow Sr., at Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville, In., on June 25, 2013. She was loved and will be missed by many family and friends.
