The Ohio Stingrays 12U team won its third straight tournament this past weekend, the Jon Wells Memorial in Zanesville. Seven teams participated. The Stingrays went 3-0 in pool play, winning by a combined score of 34-4. The girls scored their first bracket play victory over the Muskie Chix, 9-0, and then beat the host Road Runners, 8-6. The Stingrays claimed the championship by beating the Road Runners again, 13-0. The Stingrays will travel to Cincinnati this weekend to compete in the Queen City Ultimate Qualifier.
