CENTERBURG — Thomas Lloyd “Tom” Ross, 56, of Centerburg, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at home.

Born Feb. 23, 1957, in Mount Vernon, he was a 1975 graduate of Centerburg High School, where he excelled in football and basketball. A lifelong salesman, he and his family had lived in several states before returning to Ohio.

Additionally he was survived by nieces and nephews, John, ReAnnan, Drew, Jacqueline and Alyson; and many cousins, two of which were like a brother and sister, Scott Reynolds and Marsha DeWinter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Ross, in 1997.

Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, at the Centerburg Church of Christ, 3830 Columbus Road, Centerburg, OH 43011; where services will follow Saturday at 4 p.m., with Scott Reynolds and Roger Crego officiating. Arrangements entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury.
