CENTERBURG — Thelma L. Satterfield, 77, of Centerburg, passed away Tuesday morning, April 1, 2014, at Mt. Carmel East, after suffering a stroke in January.

In 1958 she married Robert Satterfield and together they shared 43 wonderful years until his passing in 2001. Devoted member of the Centerburg Christian Church.

Those left who cherish her memory include her children, Cheryl Brenner of Delaware, Joyce (Bill) Phillips of Sunbury, Robert (Diana) Satterfield Jr. of Mount Vernon, and Amy Young of Centerburg; beloved grandchildren, Megan and Drew Brenner, Linda (Chris) Crumrine, Crystal (Craig) Pierson, and Ryan Young; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Thomas, Keith and Austin; her only sister, Barbara Smith of Marengo; her close uncle, Dale (Charlotte) Covrett of Delaware; nieces, nephews and cousins; and treasured friend, Judy Campbell.

Also preceded in death by brothers, Marvin and Darold Covrett; and nephews, Larry Thomas (Tommy) Pryor, Ronald Pryor and Charles (Chuck) Jackson Jr.

Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SRs 3 at 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Friday, at 10:30 a.m., and burial follow in Eastview Cemetery.
