Joel Mazza to receive Outstanding Historical Preservation award

The Knox County Landmarks Foundation (KCLF) will have its annual open meeting on April 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Knox County Historical Society at 875 Harcourt Rd, Mount Vernon, Ohio.

The award for Outstanding Historical Preservation will be presented to Joel Mazza for the preservation and repurposing of the former high and middle school on Mulberry Street.

The public is invited and encouraged to review the projects, completed and ongoing, by the group. Ongoing projects include the restoration of the Lustron House, ReHHUP, and the Mound View Cemetery Chapel. The public is invited to suggest areas for future consideration by KCLF.
